Head of Performance and Planning

About the role

ANZ is seeking a senior leader to steer technology performance and planning across its Pacific operations. Based in Suva, the Head of Performance & Planning will partner with the Tech Area Lead and broader leadership team to ensure visibility and delivery of technology investments, budgets and outcomes across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of technology strategy, roadmaps and investment plans for the Pacific region.
• Own financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cost-control for all technology spend.
• Monitor performance metrics, produce insight‑rich reports and drive continuous improvement of technology services.
• Manage key vendor relationships to secure favourable commercial outcomes.
• Oversee infrastructure planning, lifecycle management and resilience initiatives.
• Support risk management, audit activities and compliance requirements.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across Technology and the wider business.
• Champion capability uplift and continuous improvement across teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technology leadership, planning or operations, preferably in a multi-country environment.
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting and cost governance.
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure, platforms and technology environments.
• Experience managing vendors and commercial contracts.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing abilities.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to prioritize and deliver outcomes.
• Banking, financial services or other regulated-industry experience is a plus.
