Labour Mobility Communications & Customer Service Officer

About the role

This role supports Fiji’s labour mobility programmes by delivering clear communications, responsive customer service and reliable administration. Based in Suva, the officer works with the National Employment Centre, the Foreign Employment Services Unit and a range of government and development partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop communication plans, awareness campaigns and outreach activities that support labour mobility objectives.
• Create and maintain content for social media, websites, newsletters, brochures, radio, television and print, including success stories, photographs and videos.
• Support media engagement and promote programme opportunities and achievements to government, development partners, employers and communities.
• Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries received in person, by telephone, email, social media and other channels.
• Provide accurate information on eligibility, registration, recruitment, mobilisation, training and worker support services.
• Guide applicants through programme requirements, manage concerns or complaints, and escalate complex matters when needed.
• Provide administrative support for worker registration, recruitment, screening, mobilisation and documentation.
• Assist with stakeholder events, community awareness sessions and recruitment campaigns while maintaining productive relationships with labour mobility partners.
• Contribute communication products and stories for monitoring and reporting purposes.

• Reliable administrative skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working with government agencies, development partners, employers and community stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively with regional and Australian labour‑mobility counterparts.
