Loss Prevention Guest Service Attendant

About the role

Sheraton Nadi is hiring a Loss Prevention Guest Service Attendant for a full-time, non-management position in Nadi, Fiji. The role combines guest service with security and loss prevention duties, including patrolling the property, monitoring security systems and assisting guests.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access
• Monitor closed-circuit television, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms and fire life safety system
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily physical hazard inspections
• Respond to accidents, call EMS or administer first aid/CPR, and help guests and employees during emergencies
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons and report accidents, thefts and vehicle accidents to the scene
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries and daily activity reports, and investigate incidents and gather evidence
• Handle interruptions and complaints, resolve safety hazards and maintain confidentiality of reports
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, assist people with disabilities and follow company policies and safety training

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit or walk for long periods and move quickly to respond to situations
• Able to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier ones with assistance
• Good vision, including reading small print and inspecting equipment
• Some states may require additional licensing or registration
