Stores Guest Service Agent

About the role

The Stores Guest Service Agent ensures merchandise is received, staged, and delivered to the correct departments while maintaining food safety and inventory accuracy. This role supports the smooth operation of the store and contributes to a positive guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and stage merchandise by department, marking items for proper placement.
• Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts and complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
• Inspect deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality; refuse damaged or incorrect items.
• Store perishables correctly, rotate stock, and monitor low‑stock levels.
• Organize, clean, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, equipment, and drains.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash, placing them in designated storage areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete required safety training.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit, walk, or be on feet for an entire shift.
• Capability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Fine motor skills for handling objects of varying size and weight.
• Comfort working in narrow, elevated, sloping, or slippery spaces and navigating stairs or ramps.
