Bond Officer

About the role

The Bond Officer will manage and coordinate bonded cargo operations, ensuring accurate control and timely movement of cargo while maintaining customs compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the team to transfer import cargo from the Ground Handling agent to the Transam warehouse.
• Register shipments, handover for clearance, and process cargo release authorizations.
• Perform regular bond checks, summarize cargo on hand, and advise the Freight Agent.
• Register all manifests in ASYCUDA World and support clearance processes.
• Release customs‑cleared cargo and coordinate delivery hand‑over.
• Update local and international clients on cargo status and conduct weekly checks with the Suva office.
• Invoice shipments for both local and international customers and maintain documentation filing.

Required profile

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Customs, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Experience in customs, bonded warehouse, freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and record‑keeping skills.
