Human Resources Intern – On‑site Role in Suva

About the role

The Human Resources Intern will join the HR team in an on‑site position based in Suva, supporting day‑to‑day administrative and operational tasks. This role provides hands‑on exposure to core HR functions within a dynamic retail and distribution environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain employee data and HR records accurately.
• Assist in preparing HR documentation, reports, and policy communications.
• Support recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communication.
• Help with onboarding processes for new hires.
• Participate in HR projects aimed at improving employee engagement and workplace practices.
• Provide basic assistance with employee benefits administration.

Required profile

• Foundational knowledge of Human Resources and HR Management.
• Understanding of HR policies and employee benefits.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in HR, Business Management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Demonstrated reliability, positive attitude, and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced retail setting.
