Labour Mobility Reintegration Officer (Fixed‑term)

About the role

The Labour Mobility Reintegration Officer supports Fiji’s labour mobility programme by providing operational, administrative and client‑focused services to returned workers, their families and participating employers. Based in Suva, the role works closely with the National Employment Centre, Foreign Employment Services Unit and other government and development partners.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Reintegration Coordinator in delivering the Labour Mobility Reintegration Programme, including needs assessments and coordination of workshops and awareness activities.
• Support returned workers and families to access services, referrals, and develop employment, business and livelihood plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, financial institutions, NGOs, community groups and training providers.
• Organise and follow up on stakeholder meetings and contribute to communication and awareness campaigns.
• Provide guidance on Australian superannuation processes, entitlements and withdrawal procedures, preparing informational materials as needed.

Required profile

• Experience working with migrant workers, reintegration or social support programmes.
• Familiarity with government‑led labour mobility initiatives and related stakeholder networks.
• Ability to coordinate activities, manage client cases and produce clear informational resources.
