Learning & Development Officer

About the role

The Learning & Development Officer will lead staff learning, engagement and succession planning initiatives, ensuring employees have the skills and support needed to perform and grow within the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage employee learning and development programs, including internal and external training sessions, workshops and seminars.
• Conduct onboarding and induction programs for new employees.
• Maintain and track staff training records, attendance, completion and effectiveness.
• Implement and manage staff engagement initiatives, recognition programs and wellbeing activities.
• Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development priorities.
• Support succession planning by identifying high‑potential employees and tracking development plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in HR, learning & development, or training coordination.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
• Knowledge of learning and development principles, staff engagement strategies and succession planning.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Word.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint.
