Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Loss Prevention Officer to patrol our property in Nadi, Fiji, ensuring the safety of guests, employees and assets. The role involves monitoring security systems, responding to incidents and maintaining a secure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and control access to rooms.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Lock entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR or summon EMS.
• Handle guest or employee disturbances, defuse conflicts and escort unwelcome persons.
• Document all incidents, complete shift summaries and maintain confidentiality.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence and interview relevant parties.
• Assist guests, including those with disabilities, and uphold service standards.

Required profile

• Physical ability to stand, walk or run for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unassisted.
• First aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain them.
• Clear, professional communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Willingness to follow company policies, safety training and uniform standards.
