About the role
The Pacific Community (SPC) is seeking an Outreach and Engagement Advisor to lead strategic communication, outreach and gender‑equality initiatives across the organisation. The role will ensure culturally sensitive storytelling that reflects Pacific‑led impact and supports the visibility of SPC’s results.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement and translate engagement strategies and strategic content for SPC staff, partners and members.
- Lead development of the internal SPC engagement strategy with key partners (OneSPC, SPL, SCOE, WIL, O&I).
- Facilitate meaningful engagement sessions with incentivised actions to increase participation across SPC.
- Demonstrate impact through improved engagement, understanding of policy, and gender‑equality outcomes.
- Develop and disseminate information using best‑practice design, strategic communications, outreach and engagement channels, including a quarterly internal publication.
