Process Operator - Production

About the role

The Process Operator provides technical and operational support to maintain high equipment effectiveness and ensure safe, efficient production in a bottling environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain OEE at or above 85% while upholding OH&S procedures.
• Operate and maintain a range of equipment including forklifts, blowers/fillers, labelers, shrink wrappers, case erectors, palletizers, and injection molding machines.
• Respond to operational issues, perform elementary maintenance and adjustments.
• Carry out planned AM checks and practice daily management systems such as Centre lining, Clean Inspect Lube, and defect handling.
• Execute manual tasks such as hand palletising, product rework, product destroy, and hand packing as required.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure optimal product quality.
• Enter downtime data into the EIT system and support JIT material consumption using scanned guns.
• Support site‑wide quality compliance and environmental initiatives.

Required profile

• Successful completion of Year 12 and a trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a manufacturing or bottling environment.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Valid Group 9 driving licence.
• Self‑motivated, problem‑solver, able to work with minimal supervision and as a team player.

Required skills

• Downtime entry into EIT.
