Senior Business Manager

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Senior Business Manager to support the Country Head of Fiji and the Head of Commercial Pacific. The role will drive the delivery of strategic priorities across the eight Pacific commercial markets and Fiji, ensuring alignment with ANZ’s overall strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to plan, coordinate and execute business priorities.
• Drive business rhythm including planning cycles, leadership forums and execution tracking.
• Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives across commercial, marketing, operations, risk, product, L&D and governance.
• Facilitate senior leadership meetings, off‑sites and critical reviews, documenting outcomes and follow‑ups.
• Oversee planning, forecasting, reporting and pipeline management to support business performance.
• Prepare executive communications, presentations and briefing materials.
• Identify risks, dependencies and opportunities and drive proactive resolution.
• Ensure governance, discipline and follow‑through across all activities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial services or strategic support within complex organisations.
• Strong understanding of core banking for commercial and retail segments, balance‑sheet dynamics and non‑financial risk frameworks.
• Proven ability to support senior leaders and operate at a senior level.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
