Senior Revenue & Direct Cost Accountant

About the role

Digicel Pacific is seeking a highly motivated Senior Revenue & Direct Cost Accountant to join its Finance Team at the Digicel Office in Nabua. Reporting to the Financial Controller – Tonga, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate revenue and cost reporting, preventing leakages, and supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily revenue and cost reports, compile trackers for the CEO and senior management by 10 am.
• Investigate and resolve reporting issues to prevent revenue leakage or over‑booking.
• Provide revenue and direct‑cost forecasts for NTF and monthly flash reporting.
• Reconcile all revenue lines, identify low‑performing plans/customers and flag them for commercial review.
• Validate direct costs, dispute unjustified items and ensure budget compliance.
• Verify accounts‑receivable entries, assess bad‑debt exposure and coordinate with AR, credit and billing teams.
• Perform Nextgen roaming reconciliations, manage deferred revenue reconciliation, and deactivate expired cards monthly.
• Review and approve direct‑cost purchase orders and liaise with Group/AP teams for timely payments.
• Prepare general‑ledger reconciliations and support internal/external audits and IFRS projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in revenue accounting, cost control or related finance functions.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies quickly.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver accurate daily reports.
