Senior Revenue & Direct Cost Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Revenue & Direct Cost Accountant to join Digicel Pacific’s Finance team in Nabua. The role focuses on accurate daily revenue and cost reporting, supporting the CEO and senior management team, and ensuring compliance with internal controls in a fast‑paced telecommunications environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review revenue and cost reports and circulate daily trackers to the CEO and senior management by 10 am.
• Investigate and resolve reporting issues to prevent revenue leakage or over‑booking.
• Provide revenue and direct‑cost forecasts for NTF and monthly flash reporting.
• Reconcile all revenue lines, identify low‑performing plans/customers and work with commercial teams.
• Validate direct costs, dispute unjustified charges and ensure budget adherence.
• Verify accounts‑receivable entries, assess bad‑debt exposure and coordinate with AR, credit and billing teams.
• Perform Nextgen roaming reconciliations, manage deferred‑revenue reconciliation and expired‑card de‑activations.
• Review and approve direct‑cost purchase orders and process payments to avoid service interruptions.
• Prepare general‑ledger reconciliations and support audit, IFRS and budgeting projects.

Required profile

• Motivated finance professional with strong analytical abilities.
• Experience in revenue and cost accounting, preferably within telecommunications.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and produce accurate daily reports.
• Good understanding of internal controls, forecasting and reconciliation processes.
