Senior System Engineer

About the role

Join Data#3’s growing Professional Services team in Fiji as a Senior System Engineer. You will own the delivery of complex Microsoft infrastructure and cloud solutions, working hands‑on across both project and customer environments while shaping best‑practice delivery locally.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end Microsoft solutions on‑premises (Active Directory, Exchange) and in the cloud (Azure, Microsoft 365).
• Design and implement high‑level and detailed technical architectures in collaboration with solution architects.
• Engage directly with customers to translate business problems into technical outcomes.
• Provide technical support and oversight during deployments, ensuring quality and adherence to best practices.
• Contribute to pre‑sales activities, positioning solutions and identifying new opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust and high satisfaction.
• Collaborate with account teams, solution specialists and internal stakeholders to drive broader business results.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in Microsoft infrastructure technologies (Active Directory, Exchange, Azure, Microsoft 365).
• Proven hands‑on experience delivering technical solutions in an engineering or consulting role.
• Excellent communicator able to engage technical and business audiences.
• Natural relationship builder with the ability to earn trust and influence customers.
• Confident presenter, capable of leading discussions and owning conversations end‑to‑end.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with risk assessment and practical solution recommendation.
• Interest in evolving into a consulting / pre‑sales hybrid role.
