International Road Survey Specialist

About the role

The International Road Survey Specialist will lead the planning, programming and execution of road inventory and condition surveys across Fiji, ensuring high‑quality data collection and analysis. This role supports Surbana Jurong’s mission to deliver impactful infrastructure solutions in small island developing states.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement road inventory and condition survey programmes.
• Operate and manage road survey equipment, including ARRB tools.
• Oversee post‑processing, validation and entry of survey data into databases.
• Prepare clear, concise reports summarising findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate survey results into broader transport projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in road surveys, preferably in SIDS.
• Fluent English with strong report‑writing abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering, transport economics or a related field.
