Loss Prevention Guest Service Assistant

About the role

The Loss Prevention Guest Service Assistant ensures the safety and security of guests, employees, and property assets at our resort on Denarau Island. You will patrol the premises, respond to emergencies, and provide courteous assistance to guests while maintaining a secure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and monitor closed‑circuit television (CCTV) feeds.
• Operate perimeter alarm, duress, and fire‑life‑safety systems, locking entrances when required.
• Conduct daily hazard inspections and respond to accidents, providing first aid/CPR or contacting EMS.
• Assist guests and employees during emergencies, defuse disturbances, and escort unwelcome persons.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries, and loss‑prevention documentation while maintaining confidentiality.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.
• Provide guest service by welcoming visitors, addressing service needs, and supporting individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, or run for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unassisted.
• Clear, professional communication skills.
• Commitment to follow company policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
• Physical fitness to respond quickly to security situations.
