Business Development Manager

About the role

Ceva (Air and Ocean) Fiji Pte Ltd, a joint‑venture subsidiary of CEVA Logistics, is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join its Suva office. The role focuses on expanding the company’s air, ocean, warehousing and logistics services across Fiji.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and develop new business opportunities while building strong relationships with key customers and decision‑makers.
• Understand customer supply‑chain requirements, propose improvements and promote Ceva’s integrated logistics solutions.
• Achieve agreed revenue, gross profit and new‑business targets.
• Monitor market conditions, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events and networking opportunities.
• Contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Management, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
• Proven experience in a commercial role, preferably as a Sales or Business Development Manager within freight forwarding and logistics.
• Sound knowledge of air and ocean freight and broader logistics solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business, develop accounts and meet revenue and profit targets.
• Strong business and financial acumen, understanding of pricing and margins.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with operational and regional teams.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to undertake regular customer visits.
