Events Executive – Hotel Banqueting

About the role

The Events Executive is responsible for delivering memorable event experiences at our hotel on Denarau Island. You will manage the full event lifecycle, from the first client inquiry through to successful completion, ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of hotel events, internal functions, and social gatherings.
• Create detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) tailored to client specifications.
• Work closely with the sales team to convert leads into booked events.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for guests and internal departments during events.
• Maintain accurate event documentation, schedules, and client briefs.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Events Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in event planning, hotel banqueting, or meetings & events coordination.
• Proven ability to prepare BEOs, event schedules, and client briefs.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Eligibility to work in Fiji.
