IT Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an IT Operations Manager to lead the delivery of IT services and support for our business in Suva, Fiji. You will oversee the local IT team, ensuring systems, infrastructure and workplace technology are reliable, secure and aligned with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead local IT operations, covering end‑user support, device management, workplace technology, infrastructure, connectivity and business system access.
• Prioritise, resolve or escalate incidents and service requests in line with agreed service levels.
• Monitor system performance and availability, taking proactive steps to minimise disruption.
• Maintain processes for incident, request, problem, change, asset and knowledge management.
• Manage third‑party technology vendors, including performance, issue resolution and renewals.
• Support local technology projects, system upgrades, office changes and new business initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent progressive management experience.
• At least 10 years of IT experience with strong technical operations background and minimum five years in a management role.
• Proven people leadership skills, including coaching, performance management and team development.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer‑focused approach.
