IT Operations Manager – Suva, Fiji

About the role

We’re looking for a Manager, IT Operations to lead the delivery of IT services and support for our business in Suva, Fiji. You’ll oversee the local IT team and ensure our systems, infrastructure and workplace technology are reliable, secure and responsive to the needs of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead local IT operations, end‑user support, device management, workplace technology, infrastructure, connectivity and access to business systems.
• Prioritise, resolve or escalate incidents and service requests in line with agreed service levels.
• Monitor system performance and availability, taking proactive steps to minimise disruption.
• Maintain processes for incident, request, problem, change, asset and knowledge management.
• Work with regional and enterprise IT teams to implement technology standards and security controls.
• Manage third‑party technology vendors, including performance monitoring and contract renewals.
• Support local technology projects, system upgrades, office changes and new business initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve service quality, operational efficiency, user experience and IT costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent progressive management experience.
• At least 10 years of IT experience with strong technical operations background and minimum five years in management.
• Proven people‑leadership skills, including coaching, performance management and team development.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and customer‑focused approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain technical issues to non‑technical audiences.
