Sales Coordinator – Hotel Sales & Marketing

About the role

The Sales Coordinator provides essential administrative support to the Sales & Marketing team at a Marriott hotel on Denarau Island. This full‑time position ensures smooth daily operations, prepares sales documentation, and acts as a primary point of contact for guests and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general office duties such as filing, emailing, typing, faxing and copying.
• Prepare sales‑related documents, including proposals, contracts and banquet event orders.
• Assemble promotional material packages and maintain brand awareness internally and externally.
• Enter, retrieve, reconcile and verify sales data (commissions, leads, third‑party information) in the relevant software.
• Answer guest inquiries about property facilities, rates, packages and events.
• Communicate with clients via phone and email, responding to questions and requests.
• Uphold company policies, maintain confidentiality, and ensure a professional appearance.
• Support team members, foster positive working relationships and contribute to quality assurance standards.

Required profile

• Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
