Senior Talent & Culture Business Partner

About the role

As a Senior Talent & Culture Business Partner at ANZ, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, shaping people strategies that drive business performance and organisational growth. You will work closely with leaders to navigate change, build capability and strengthen culture across the Suva office.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to design and implement people strategies that support organisational effectiveness and long‑term growth.
• Coach, influence and challenge leaders on workforce planning, leadership development, culture, talent and organisational priorities.
• Lead strategic initiatives such as workforce planning, organisational design, talent and succession, leadership development, employee engagement and transformation programmes.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, the Talent & Culture community and external bodies to enable business outcomes.
• Represent Talent & Culture in business forums, projects and governance discussions, ensuring people considerations are embedded in decision‑making.
• Analyse workforce data and market trends to identify opportunities and recommend strategic people solutions.
• Collaborate with specialist Talent & Culture teams to deliver initiatives across the employee lifecycle.
• Champion ANZ’s culture, values and inclusion agenda while developing high‑performing teams.
• Support leaders with stakeholder engagement, including unions, regulators and government agencies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar senior people‑focused role.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive strategic people initiatives.
• Experience in workforce planning, organisational design, talent management and leadership development.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with unions, regulators and government bodies.
• Ability to translate business priorities into actionable people outcomes.
