Administrative & HR Analyst (NOA) – UNFPA Pacific

About the role

The Administrative & HR Analyst (NOA) supports the UNFPA Pacific Sub‑Regional Office by ensuring smooth administrative operations and effective human‑resource management across 14 Pacific Island Countries. The role contributes to the achievement of UNFPA’s strategic outcomes and Sustainable Development Goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice on corporate strategies, personnel rules, contractual modalities and change‑management processes.
• Ensure compliance of HR recording and reporting systems with UNFPA regulations, coordinating with senior management, HQ and the Regional Office.
• Assist in recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions and coordinating interview logistics.
• Oversee office administration, travel arrangements, asset management and related logistical support.
• Drive staff performance‑management cycles, career‑development initiatives and talent‑management operations.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in administrative and HR support within an international or multilateral environment.
• Strong knowledge of UN/UNFPA HR policies, rules and reporting requirements.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
