Civil and Structural Engineering Technician

About the role

Erasito is seeking motivated Civil and Structural Engineering Technicians to support infrastructure projects across water, wastewater, fuel, transport, buildings and ports in Fiji and the Pacific. The role offers hands‑on experience in site investigations, design modelling and client interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of infrastructure projects, including site visits, topographical and geotechnical surveys.
• Participate in client meetings, workshops and project discussions.
• Assist with engineering assessments, calculations, design work and technical documentation.
• Build and maintain 2D and 3D models and produce professional drawings.
• Collaborate with colleagues in other offices and international partners.
• Compile Engineering Cyclone Certification reports for residential and commercial properties.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, risk management and Fiji’s development.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, planning and organisational skills.
• Proactive work ethic, team integration and willingness to seek feedback.
• High computer literacy and eagerness to learn new technology.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Autodesk suite: Civil3D, Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience with structural modelling software such as SpaceGASS, Autodesk Robot or ETABS.
• Experience with water and wastewater modelling tools like KyPipe or InfoWorks WS Pro.
• Understanding of Fiji, Australian and New Zealand engineering standards and industry practices.
