Claims Manager

About the role

Marsh is looking for a Claims Manager to join its Claims Operations team in Suva, Fiji. You will manage specialist commercial claims across multiple lines, providing technical advice and building trusted relationships with SME and corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Handle standard to complex commercial claims, focusing on client advocacy and technical support from notification to settlement.
• Advise clients and brokers on policy coverage, interpret terms, and manage insurer indemnity disputes.
• Respond to broker and client queries, conduct meetings, and liaise with insurers, claimants, and external providers.
• Prepare routine and ad‑hoc reports, present quarterly or annual reviews, and identify referral opportunities for the Advocacy team.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of insurance claims experience, preferably in specialty commercial lines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
• Experience in a client‑focused claims or insurance environment.
