Fixed-term Pest Control Technician

About the role

Genera Pacific is seeking a Fixed‑term Pest Control Technician to join its Lautoka team. You will be responsible for delivering pest management and hygiene services across the division, ensuring compliance with company procedures and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out all pest treatments according to the company’s Standard Operating Procedure.
• Follow monthly schedules and perform pest control on allocated dates and times.
• Report any schedule changes, workload variations, incidents or accidents to the coordinator promptly.
• Conduct pre‑risk assessments on site before treatment.
• Maintain site pest logs, chemical registers and assist with stock‑take activities.
• Handle domestic pest control requests and keep chemical usage records up to date.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in pest control and hygiene servicing.
• Knowledge of safe equipment operation and chemical handling.
• Group 2 driving licence (mandatory).
• Physically fit and able to work non‑standard hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail, good communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to multitask, work independently and as part of a team.
