Irrigation Technician

About the role

We are looking for an Irrigation Technician to join our hospitality grounds team at The Westin in Nadi, Fiji. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining and operating irrigation systems across the property, ensuring the grounds remain healthy and visually appealing.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and operate irrigation systems for lawns, gardens, fountains and other grounds features.
• Conduct inventory checks of tools, equipment and supplies, and request parts as needed.
• Record water usage from pumps and wells and report usage data.
• Perform special projects such as drainage installation, bunker and tee rebuilding on the golf course.
• Maintain the appearance of fountains, planters and other features through cleaning, repairs or replacements.
• Operate tractors, trucks and utility vehicles to transport equipment, supplies and debris.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in irrigation or grounds maintenance.
• Legal right to work in Fiji.
• Commitment to follow all safety, security and company policies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining professional appearance.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lb and work on uneven or slippery surfaces.
