IT Administrator – Infrastructure & Support

About the role

We are looking for a capable IT Administrator to manage the daily operation, monitoring and technical support of our IT infrastructure. The role ensures that servers, networks and end‑user devices run smoothly and securely.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support servers, operating systems and network infrastructure.
• Monitor availability and performance of critical systems and escalate issues.
• Maintain connectivity for head office and branch locations, including LAN, WAN, VPN and wireless networks.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, laptops, printers and related equipment.
• Enforce approved IT security policies and procedures.
• Oversee scheduled backups and verify successful completion.
• Conduct periodic checks of IT assets and maintain accurate inventory.
• Assist the IT Manager with project implementation and system upgrades.
• Liaise with approved vendors for technical support and fault resolution.
• Provide occasional after‑hours support for maintenance or projects.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, Networking or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft, networking, cybersecurity or infrastructure technologies are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to information security and confidentiality.
• Effective communication skills with staff, management and external providers.
