Operations Coordinator, KIWA Project

About the role

Conservation International is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support the KIWA Initiative’s RESTORE project in Suva, Fiji. The role provides essential operational, financial, and HR assistance to ensure smooth project delivery in line with donor requirements and CI policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day financial tasks, including accounts payable, cash requests, and transaction uploads in BW.
• Support donor budgeting, reporting, and contract/grant administration, including sub‑grant drafting and system entry.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, budget vs. actual analyses, and assist with external audit processes.
• Oversee procurement and travel arrangements, ensuring compliance with donor policies.
• Handle HR operations such as payroll processing, timesheet entry, and maintenance of confidential personnel records.
• Provide general office support and assist the CI‑Pacific Senior Manager – Operations as needed.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial and HR records.
• Experience working with donor‑funded projects or NGOs is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with BW (Business Warehouse) for financial transaction uploads.
• Experience using grant management systems for contracts and sub‑grant tracking.
