People & Culture Officer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated, people‑focused People & Culture Officer to join our team in Suva. The role will support day‑to‑day HR operations and work closely with employees, team leaders, and management.

Key responsibilities

• Support recruitment, interviews and onboarding processes.
• Maintain employee records and HR systems.
• Assist with attendance, leave management and HR documentation.
• Prepare employment letters and other HR correspondence.
• Support performance management and disciplinary procedures.
• Assist with employee relations and address staff concerns.
• Support training initiatives, employee engagement and HR reporting.

Required profile

• Qualification in Human Resources, Management or a related field.
• Previous HR or People & Culture experience preferred.
• Good understanding of HR practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Professional, approachable and willing to learn.
