Resource Mobilisation & Partnerships Lead – Pacific

About the role

Plan International is seeking a full‑time Resource Mobilisation & Partnerships Lead for the Pacific region. Based in Suva, Fiji, the role will develop and implement strategies to secure funding and build partnerships across the Pacific.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a funding pipeline, identifying new opportunities and leading proposal development.
• Lead bid preparation, coordinating multi‑country and consortium proposals with programme, technical and finance contributors.
• Network with donors, partners, and government agencies to position Plan strategically.
• Build and manage partnerships and consortia to enhance programme impact.
• Support organisational learning and capacity building in resource mobilisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in international development, social sciences, public policy, communications or related field; postgraduate qualification desirable.
• Minimum five years of experience in international development, humanitarian action, resource mobilisation or partnership development.
• Proven success in developing competitive proposals for institutional donors, foundations or corporate funders.
• Experience coordinating complex, multi‑country proposals and understanding donor compliance expectations.
• Established networks in the Pacific development sector or ability to build credible relationships quickly.
