About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Nadi office and support a portfolio of Australian clients. The role offers the chance to work with a professional team, develop junior staff, and engage in a variety of tax and accounting projects.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements, working papers, and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs.
- Prepare and review Business Activity Statements and other compliance reports.
- Provide bookkeeping, accounting, and payroll processing support for Australian clients.
- Reconcile complex accounts, conduct balance‑sheet reviews, and assist with tax research and client advisory matters.
- Liaise with Australian clients and external stakeholders, review junior staff work, and support directors on special projects.
- Identify process improvements and efficiencies.
Required profile
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting; studying towards CPA or CA is desirable.
- Minimum 5 years of public‑practice accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax compliance and Australian client requirements.
- Ability to work independently, manage workload proactively and meet deadlines.
Required skills
- Advanced Xero proficiency (essential).
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
