Supply Chain Associate – Suva, Fiji

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Supply Chain Associate to support procurement and logistics activities for its South Pacific operations. The role is based in Suva and reports to the Head of Resources Management and the Senior Supply Chain Associate.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and consolidate procurement requisition forms in line with IOM procedures.
• Prepare tender documents, solicit bids, conduct bid analysis, and support evaluation processes.
• Coordinate purchase orders, contracts, and authorizations with selected suppliers.
• Monitor open requisitions, track delivery of goods and services, and ensure satisfactory receipt documentation.
• Review vendor invoices, prepare payment requests, and liaise with Finance for timely payments.
• Maintain physical and electronic procurement records according to IOM guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field with three years of relevant experience, or high school diploma with five years of experience.
• Experience in procurement, logistics, vendor management and asset management processes.
• Familiarity with IOM/UN procurement rules is an advantage.
• Fluency in English (oral and written) is required.
