Analyst – Governance & Reporting (Non‑Financial Risk)

About the role

The Analyst – Governance & Reporting will support the First Line of Defence in managing non‑financial risk across ANZ’s Pacific operations. You will coordinate governance activities, maintain risk data, and produce high‑quality reporting artefacts that improve visibility of risks, controls and customer impacts.

Key responsibilities

• Support regular NFR governance routines by preparing agendas, papers and action logs.
• Maintain governance documentation, templates and version‑controlled records.
• Update and monitor risk events, issues, remediation actions and audit‑ready logs.
• Coordinate inputs for audits, regulatory requests and assurance activities.
• Consolidate data and prepare sections of NFR reports, dashboards and management packs.
• Monitor risk indicators, flag variances, trends or anomalies for escalation.
• Assist with basic analysis to identify emerging risks or control issues.
• Produce clear minutes, reports and evidence packs.
• Collaborate with business units and Centres of Excellence to meet governance timelines.
• Support continuous improvement of governance and reporting processes.

Required profile

• A tertiary qualification in business, finance, risk or a related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with accurate, audit‑ready data.
• Excellent written communication skills for producing structured governance artefacts.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
