Recreation Guest Service Attendant

About the role

The Recreation Guest Service Attendant supports the daily operation of the resort’s recreation facilities and programs. You will create a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for guests while assisting with activities, equipment, and safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Greet, register, and schedule guests for recreation activities, providing clear information on facilities, programs, rentals, and schedules.
• Enforce facility rules and safety guidelines, respond to emergencies, and notify supervisors of unsafe situations.
• Clean, maintain, and inspect recreation areas, equipment, and supplies; report defects or hazards.
• Process payments for rentals, activities, and retail sales using the resort’s cash‑handling systems.
• Communicate professionally with guests and colleagues, assist guests with disabilities, and uphold company policies.
• Support team members and contribute to departmental operational goals.

Required profile

• Previous experience in recreation, sports, guest services, or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with guests of all ages.
• Basic knowledge of recreation safety procedures; first‑aid training is an advantage.
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, bending, and prolonged standing.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
