Painter – Facilities Maintenance

About the role

The Painter is responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appearance of the property by applying paint, finishes, and protective coatings to walls, ceilings, furniture, and other surfaces. This full‑time position supports facilities operations, ensures brand standards are met, and contributes to guest satisfaction and overall property upkeep.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, stripping, and priming to achieve high‑quality finishes.
• Apply paints, stains, varnishes, enamels, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment while adhering to color specifications.
• Mix and modify paints and finishes to obtain required colors and consistency.
• Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, masking, and signage during painting activities.
• Maintain and store painting tools and equipment properly after each use.
• Assist the Engineering team with general maintenance tasks and coordinate with vendors for specialized paint requirements.
• Follow safety procedures, use personal protective equipment, and handle chemicals in compliance with hazardous material guidelines.
