Accounts Receivable Team Leader

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Team Leader will drive timely collections, credit management and accurate reconciliations while ensuring strong internal controls. This role is pivotal for optimizing cash flow, reducing overdue accounts and supporting overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Accounts Receivable team to meet service standards and productivity targets.
• Oversee issuance of invoices, statements and allocation of customer receipts, refunds, chargebacks and adjustments.
• Drive collection strategies, monitor AR aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Manage customer credit approvals, monitor limits and collaborate with sales and operations to mitigate credit risk.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of customer accounts, bank receipts, guest ledger and AR ledger.
• Prepare weekly and monthly AR reports, aging analyses and support month‑end close activities.
• Partner with the Compliance team to resolve audit findings and maintain statutory compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in a supervisory or team‑lead capacity.
• Strong understanding of credit control, collections and cash‑flow optimisation.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret AR data and identify risks.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
