Hotel Manager

About the role

The Hotel Manager will be the second‑in‑command at Radisson Blu Resort Fiji, overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead multiple departments and drive commercial results in a luxury resort setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering and Security to deliver operational excellence.
• Collaborate with Heads of Department to maximize guest satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
• Assist the General Manager with capital projects, refurbishments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor P&L, KPIs, forecasts and implement strategies to improve profitability and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, audit requirements and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of senior leadership experience in a luxury or upper‑upscale resort.
• Strong Rooms Division background (e.g., Director of Rooms, Executive Assistant Manager – Rooms).
• Ability to thrive in remote island resort challenges such as labour, logistics and seasonality.
• Tertiary qualification in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management or related field.
• Hands‑on, visible leadership style with a focus on coaching and developing high‑performing teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience using Opera PMS and Revenue Management Systems.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen – interpreting P&L statements, forecasting and budgeting.
• Analytical problem‑solving using data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
