About the role
The Process Operator provides technical and operational support to maintain high overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and ensure safe work practices in a bottling environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain OEE at or above 85% and uphold OH&S procedures.
- Operate and maintain a range of equipment including forklifts, blowers/fillers, labelers, bottle date coders, shrink wrappers, case erectors, packers, sealers, palletizers, stretch wrappers and injection molding machines.
- Perform elementary maintenance, adjustments, and AM checks; record downtime in EIT.
- Execute hand palletizing, product reworks, product destroy, and manual packing as required.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure optimal product quality.
- Consume materials using Just‑In‑Time (JIT) scanning and support quality and environmental initiatives.
Required profile
- Year 12 completion and trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing.
- 3‑5 years experience in manufacturing, preferably bottling.
- Valid Group 9 driving licence.
- Ability to work shift patterns including nights, afternoons and weekends.
Required skills
- Forklift operation.
- Operation of bottling line equipment (blowers, fillers, labelers, coders, wrappers, case packers, palletizers).
- Basic equipment maintenance and adjustment.
- Use of inventory/record‑keeping systems and downtime entry (EIT).
- JIT material handling with scanned guns.
