Project Manager - Building Construction

About the role

2coms is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee building construction projects from planning through execution and completion. The ideal candidate has strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities and proven experience delivering quality, safety and timely results. The position is based in Nadi, Fiji.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project plans covering timelines, resource allocation, budgeting and procurement strategies.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise all construction activities so projects finish on schedule and to specification.
• Evaluate, select and manage contractors and subcontractors on the basis of qualifications, experience, quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor progress, track KPIs and give regular status reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, local building codes and statutory requirements.
• Manage project documentation such as contracts, permits, drawings, RFIs, change orders and records.
• Hold regular project meetings, prepare project updates on milestones, budgets, risks and performance, and enforce safety procedures.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers and internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in building construction (15+ years preferred).
• Proven experience managing end-to-end construction projects.
• Familiarity with local building regulations and safety standards.
• Good English speaking and listening skills are mandatory.
• Age range stated as 28 to 50 years.

• Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office and project management software.
