Commercial Manager – Logistics & Freight Forwarding

About the role

CEVA Fiji is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to drive growth across its Ocean Freight, Air Freight and integrated logistics services. You will lead business development, manage key accounts and shape the commercial strategy for the Fiji market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial and sales strategies to meet revenue, gross profit and market‑share targets.
• Identify new market opportunities, secure strategic accounts, manage tenders and negotiate contracts.
• Strengthen customer relationships through key‑account management, service reviews and cross‑selling initiatives.
• Lead and mentor the Commercial Team, set KPIs and foster a culture of accountability.
• Monitor sales pipelines, forecasts, pricing strategies and provide performance reporting to senior management.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Customer Service and other functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Track market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategic actions.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing or related field.
• 5‑7 years of senior commercial, business development or sales management experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Proven record of revenue growth, new‑business acquisition and key‑account management.
• Strong understanding of Ocean Freight, Air Freight, freight forwarding and supply‑chain solutions.
• Demonstrated leadership in coaching high‑performing commercial teams.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
