Compliance & Regulatory Affairs Manager – Fiji & Pacific

About the role

Based in Suva, the Compliance & Regulatory Affairs Manager will lead Tower’s compliance function across Fiji and the Pacific. Reporting to the Senior Compliance & Regulatory Manager, you will ensure that all operations meet legislative, regulatory, conduct and AML/CFT requirements while supporting business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide compliance and regulatory advice to business units, ensuring adherence to local legislation and industry standards.
• Monitor and maintain compliance frameworks, conduct risk assessments and track compliance activities.
• Develop and deliver governance reporting, regulatory engagement and training for staff and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators and key internal stakeholders.
• Oversee incident management, assurance processes and control assessments.
• Lead the implementation of regulatory changes and manage audits, inspections and reviews.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, audit, assurance or governance, preferably within insurance or financial services.
• Proven experience in supporting regulatory engagement and implementing compliance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of risk management, AML/CFT and the Three Lines of Defence model.
• Experience preparing governance reports for Boards, Audit & Risk Committees and senior management.
