Executive Housekeeper

About the role

The Executive Housekeeper leads the housekeeping department of a Radisson hotel, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and guest experience across all areas of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate a large housekeeping team through daily walk‑throughs, quality checks and performance feedback.
• Maintain impeccable standards in guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces, including proper use and labeling of chemicals.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Engineering to align room availability, maintenance and guest service.
• Develop staff schedules, allocate tasks and manage budgets, inventory of linen, uniforms and cleaning supplies.
• Monitor guest feedback and service scores, resolve issues promptly and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and statutory regulations, pest control protocols and hazardous‑material training.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of senior‑level housekeeping leadership experience in a quality‑focused hotel environment.
• Proven ability to manage large teams, budgets and multiple operational functions simultaneously.
• Commercial awareness, strong organisational skills and a results‑driven mindset.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal abilities and a customer‑service orientation.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of Opera PMS (preferred) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Certification in occupational health and safety (OHS), First Aid and chemical handling preferred.
