Factory Manager - Plastic Factory

About the role

An experienced Plastics Factory Manager is sought in Suva, Fiji, to oversee production operations, improve productivity, reduce waste and keep factory operations running smoothly. The post involves strong knowledge of plastic production and mould-related activities. It is a full-time position on a 3-year contract, working 60 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, on shift work.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day production activities and plan and monitor production operations
• Reduce production waste and improve operational efficiency
• Fit and adjust moulds as required and coordinate mould repair activities
• Prepare daily production and operational reports
• Work with local staff and production teams to maintain required standards

Required profile

• CPET certification in plastics
• Age between 28 and 35 years
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience as a Plastics Factory Manager
• Hindi or English; ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of running plastic production machinery
• Mould fitting, adjustment and repair coordination
