Machine Operator - Plastics Factory

About the role

A plastics manufacturing facility in Fiji is looking for experienced Machine Operators. The position is full-time, on a 3-year contract, with 60 hours per week from Monday to Saturday, shift work. Candidates should have practical knowledge of plastic production machinery and be able to run production processes with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Operate plastics production machinery efficiently and safely.
• Run production activities with minimal supervision.
• Monitor machine operation and production output.
• Follow production procedures and workplace safety requirements.
• Identify basic machine or production issues and report them to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper working conditions around machinery.
• Support the production team to meet daily production targets.

Required profile

• CPET certification in plastics.
• Age between 24 and 35 years.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a plastic factory machine operator.
• Hindi or English.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
