Finance and Administration Officer

About the role

The Finance and Administration Officer will support the Pacific Humanitarian Warehousing Program (PHWP) in Suva, Fiji. Working within Tetra Tech International Development, the officer ensures accurate financial management and efficient administrative processes to enable resilient, locally‑led humanitarian action across the Pacific region.

Key responsibilities

• Process payments, track expenditures, perform reconciliations and maintain comprehensive financial records.
• Assist with budget monitoring, forecasting, financial reporting and preparation for audits, ensuring compliance with Tetra Tech policies and DFAT requirements.
• Manage end‑to‑end procurement activities, including documentation, supplier onboarding, contract administration and monitoring of payment milestones.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for program stakeholders.
• Coordinate with program teams to ensure financial procedures align with operational needs.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in finance and administration, preferably in the development or humanitarian sector.
• Strong understanding of financial policies, donor requirements and procurement processes.
• Attention to detail, high level of accuracy and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multi‑country teams.
