Food and Beverage Guest Service Agent – Banquet

About the role

The Food & Beverage Guest Service Agent – Banquet delivers exceptional food and beverage service for banquet, conference, meeting and special‑event functions. Working on‑site at the Denarau Island South property, you will ensure events are set up and executed to Marriott brand standards while providing outstanding guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms, tables, stations and service areas according to event requirements.
• Serve food, beverages and alcoholic drinks professionally and efficiently.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders and assist with post‑event breakdown.
• Welcome guests, answer menu questions and anticipate guest needs.
• Communicate guest allergies, dietary requirements and special requests to the kitchen.
• Accurately record orders and process payments using the MICROS POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and compliance with food safety and Marriott policies.

Required profile

• Full‑time availability for banquet service shifts.
• Strong guest‑service orientation and ability to respond promptly to requests.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain presentation standards.
• Team‑oriented mindset and effective communication with culinary and banquet teams.
