Food & Beverage Supervisor

About the role

The Food & Beverage Supervisor ensures that all dining operations run smoothly, delivering high‑quality service to guests while leading a cohesive team. Based on Savusavu Road in Nadi, this full‑time position supports Marriott’s commitment to exceptional hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise staff to guarantee teamwork, optimal service, and guest satisfaction.
• Inspect staff grooming, attire, and overall appearance, correcting any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setup of supplies, equipment cleaning, and securing the premises.
• Maintain organized storage areas, enforce FIFO practices, and ensure cleanliness.
• Conduct inventories, stock supplies, and requisition needed items.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, safety, and guest wellbeing.
• Complete work orders for maintenance and report safety concerns.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching employees.
• Uphold company policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• Fiji citizenship (position open to Fiji citizens only).
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant Food & Beverage experience.
• Ability to work standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lb, and navigating stairs or ramps.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
