Food & Beverage Team Leader

About the role

The Food & Beverage Team Leader will oversee daily operations of the dining areas, ensuring seamless service and guest satisfaction. Reporting to the manager, you will coordinate staff, maintain standards, and uphold safety and cleanliness throughout the venue.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team to deliver optimal food and beverage service.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and securing the premises.
• Monitor dining room seating, service flow, and guest safety.
• Handle work orders for maintenance and report incidents to management.
• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching staff.
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and uniform standards.
• Welcome guests, anticipate needs, and provide courteous service.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of food and beverage experience.
• Open to Fiji citizens only.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb, standing for long periods, and navigating stairs.
• Strong communication skills and professional appearance.

Required skills

• Ability to read and verify information in various formats.
• Basic visual inspection of tools and equipment.
